TAILORING INSTITUTE
This is non-formal training. Women from the surrounding slums and lower income families come to our center to pick up some skills. Tailoring is the main skill they learn but they are also trained for Aari work. Anyone can attend this class even without any educational qualification. The main idea is to help the poor girls and women of the locality to learn a trade through which they can earn some extra income for their families. Around 20 to 25 women learn tailoring regularly.
